Ten Sing is an international youth work programme which offers a space for young people to express themselves through their culture with the help of creative cultural forms. The name Ten Sing comes from the contraction of 'Teenager´s singing', but the activity is not only about singing, but also about playing different musical instruments, dance and theatre. Ten Sing is a non-professional activity open to all youngsters, where spending time usefully and enjoyably is the priority.
The history of Czech Ten Sing dates back to 1992, when the first two Ten Sing groups were established in Prague and Krnov with the great help of Ten Sing Norway. Currently there are nine Ten Sing groups in the Czech Republic.
